INTRODUCING NEXBY!
Say hello to the little gremlin who keeps NEXUS company.
I'M NEXBY.
I'm the official mascot of NEXUS — a small, cheerful gremlin who likes to help out, keep you company, and pop up wherever something interesting is happening.
The big image shows my full mascot look. The little sprite is my in-game avatar — the version of me you'll spot around NEXUS while I'm hanging out in windows, games, and the Quarry.

HOW TO PLAY
Everything needed to survive your first match, without reading a wall of rules.
Your hand is your available software. New cards enter your hand as the match progresses.
Spend bandwidth to put a Daemon into an open lane. Its COST tells you how much bandwidth it needs.
Select one of your ready Daemons, then its target. PWR deals damage; enemy Daemons protect their side while they remain in the lane.
When you've made your plays, pass control. Your opponent gets their turn and the network fight continues.
Bandwidth is your deployment budget. A card whose COST is higher than your available bandwidth has to wait.
Choose a card from your hand and an open lane. Effects beginning with DEPLOY: happen as that Daemon enters play.
Look at PWR, remaining GRD, and keywords. Some Daemons attack immediately; others modify attacks, allies, or the Core.
Choose a Daemon that is allowed to attack and select a legal target. FIREWALL, EVADE, RECOIL and similar keywords can change the result.
You do not need to use every possible action. End the turn when your board is where you want it.
/\_/ [ o o ] /|___|\
Can attack on the turn it is deployed.
Bandwidth required to deploy the card.
Damage the Daemon deals when it attacks. This is the PWR printed on the card.
Damage the Daemon can take before it derezzes. This is the GRD printed on the card.
The shorthand rule that changes how the card behaves. Use the Codex whenever one is unfamiliar.
The plain-English effect. DEPLOY: means the effect fires when the card enters the board.
DIGITAL BINDER
Every recovered creature is archived here permanently.
STANDARD PACK
Five cards. Duplicates are retained in your binder. Five cards with guaranteed Commons, an Uncommon-or-better slot, and a chase slot that can reveal Rare, Epic, Legendary, or Corrupted creatures. Foils can appear at any rarity.
BIT JOBS
Small arcade jobs refresh on their own timers. Starting a job triggers its cooldown, even if you fail.
DECK BUILDER
Choose 10 cards from your binder, then save named configurations to your operator account.
ACHIEVEMENT ARCHIVE
Permanent BREACH milestones across collecting, combat, trading and ranked play. Existing records count retroactively.
PLAYER TRADING
Trade BREACH cards directly with another NEXUS operator. Both players lock their offers, then confirm the final exchange.
RANKED LADDER
Competitive LAN standings derived from your BREACH PvP record. Complete 3 PvP matches to receive a placement.
LAN TOURNAMENTS
Four operators. Two semifinals. One final. Tournament matches are real BREACH PvP and count toward the ranked ladder.
LIVE SPECTATOR NETWORK
Watch active LAN PvP without entering the match. Hands stay private; only public board state and combat activity are transmitted.
MATCH ARCHIVE // PVP RECORDS
Your permanent BREACH combat record: lifetime totals plus detailed match telemetry recorded by the server.
BREACH NETWORK
Run your 10-card deck against the CPU circuit or challenge another NEXUS operator on the LAN.
THE BLACK SIGIL
HOUSE EXCHANGE // PULSE // LEDGER
HOUSE EXCHANGE
Own positions in the companies beneath NEXUS. Route Botnet capacity into their networks. Sell what comes back before another member fills the House order.
CORPORATE POSITIONS
Buy and sell at the House quote. Member orders create real pressure on the shared market; the House keeps a 2% spread.
POSITION DESK
HOUSE OPERATIONS
Route permanent Botnet capacity into one company. Routed nodes recover one intelligence packet every six hours; offline storage caps at four packets per node.
The House pays most for information it still needs. Every member sells into the same daily demand; later packets are worth less.
HOUSE PULSE
The House does not wait in one room. Matters, leverage, interventions, buried wires and corporate pressure surface here when they matter.
MATTERS
A Matter is an instruction, not a contract. Complete the condition. Return when the mark clears.
HOUSE LEVERAGE
CURRENT INTEREST
HOUSE ADVANTAGE
Quietly accumulated from eligible rewards while this operator is signed in.
INTERVENTIONS
DEADWIRE
Two traces surface each day. DEADWIRE watches what you already do elsewhere in NEXUS and settles completed work here.
BLACK COINS → BITS
The exchange is one-way. Black Coins leave the House only as ordinary Bits.
THE NETWORK WAS NEVER NEUTRAL.
The House keeps a second ledger beneath the one everyone else sees.
Records appear only for entities you have already touched.ENTITY POSITIONS
What the House knows about companies you have already encountered.
THE HAND BETWEEN THEM
Links surface only when your own evidence is deep enough on both sides.
THE HOUSE
House Favors quietly influence the system you choose across NEXUS.
BLACK SIGIL BOOST
Permanent House consideration. Stacks with daily favors and other legitimate bonuses.
TERMINAL RICING
Choose how the House themes your personal terminal. Turn House Ricing off to keep your normal NEXUS theme; your House session and ACCESS ACKNOWLEDGED remain intact.
NULL SKULL MARK
Understated beside your normal decorations. Outsiders only see Unknown signal...; Circle members recognize the mark.
HOUSE ISSUE FINISHES
These are reskins of your existing Operator Deck geometry — materials, trim, Null Skull markings, and signal treatment only.
DAILY FAVOR
The Black Sigil knows what the rest of NEXUS is doing. Choose one paid favor for today; the affected system never advertises who helped you.
BLACK SIGIL TRINKETS
Small objects that should make other operators wonder where the hell you got them.
RENOUNCE THE BLACK SIGIL
This cannot be undone. This operator will never be accepted by the Black Sigil again. HOUSE EXCHANGE access, corporate positions, Botnet infrastructure, intelligence inventory, DEADWIRE, Black Coins, House Favors, Terminal recognition, the public Null Skull mark, and access to House Issue cosmetics will be withdrawn immediately. Stored House assets are not liquidated for you; renunciation means walking away from the table.
